Allgenerations
All About Us
Welcome to Allgenerations, Inc., a unique e-mail Network composed of Holocaust Survivors,
their children (2g's) and grandchildren (3g's) - "all the generations" - which was formed for the purpose of
being an educational and informational resource, for disseminating and sharing information about the Holocaust
and Israel, related issues and events and for keeping our unique community of Survivors and their descendants
informed and connected. Serena Wool rich, a 2g in Washington, D.C. is the founder/president of Allgenerations.
The Allgenerations membership includes Survivors, 2g's, 3g's, Child Survivors, Hidden Children, Holocaust
museums and related organizations, social service agencies, educators, historians, colleges and universities,
students from graduate school to elementary school, authors, filmmakers, genealogists, etc. and other concerned
individuals, with an interest in knowledge and education, teaching, tolerance, understanding others,
increasing awareness, and to gain knowledge and understanding of the Holocaust and its aftermath.
Allgenerations serves as a ‘clearinghouse’ of information. We provide the following services for our
members: sending SEARCHES e-mails to try to locate family members and friends from the Holocaust years, whose
fate is still not known since Liberation; provides educational tools and research resources, Survivors from a
particular town for interview requests; graduate and high school studies and for students at all age levels.
Topics discussed and how members are linked to each other include: SEARCH’s, cities/towns Survivors came from,
names of ships Survivors and 2g's came over on; what languages they speak, where the Survivor was during the
war; surviving in either Russia, Siberia, Tashkent, etc. Knowing that someone else has a similar story as your
parents, or yourself, or that someone else’s parents may have known or lived near yours is of great comfort to a
population that believed it was different, isolated from others and almost destroyed.

Allgenerations is a unique e-mail Network; it is not a listserv, blog, or chat room. The group's
interaction is via e-Letters and e-Mails, that provide invaluable information and updates on matters that
may affect its members. The e-Mails are sent to the membership as issues and inquiries are compiled, and when
responses are sent in we post the responses to everyone in the group, Allegations is able to respond expediently
to questions and concerns of its members.
From time to time Allgenerations will hold its well attended "Get Togethers” in major cities in the U.S.
All members are invited. It is a wonderful time to meet new people, greet old friends, to eat and to talk. Our
three-member Board of Directors consists of Serena Wool rich, President/Treasurer (a 2g) in Washington, D.C.;
Audrey Kirzner Syatt, Vice-President, (a 2g) in Boston, Massachusetts; and Ashley Taubman, Secretary, (a 3g)
in New York, New York.
